WILSON HAS ESTABLISHED A PROFOUNDLY QUALIFIED TRANSITION TEAM
Wilson’s administration will take action on day one of office. His transition team is comprised of an advisory board of both active and retired law enforcement and an undersheriff who is current, active law enforcement in Kootenai County. “My undersheriff is well-loved in the community, highly experienced in police work, patrol, and administrative function, and is apprised of the inner workings of the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. He will be fundamental to the success of the administration and our combined mission of extreme ownership inside the department.”
TWO TERMS THEN DONE
Absolute power corrupts absolutley. Dan promises to serve a maximum of two terms as sheriff. He states that George Washington set the example for us in the beginning when he was asked to become president for life and Washington refused. Wilson plans to train up leaders to carry on his mission and culture of extreme ownership at Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
GIVING BACK HIS SALARY TO FUND VOLUNTEER SERVICES
The salary of the sheriff is well over $140,000 per year. Wilson promises to cap his salary at $99,000 per year, giving the remainder back to his volunteer services division.
PROBLEMS AT KOOTENAI COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
While Wilson has run a formidable campaign on his own merit, it has also been necessary to highlight the deficiencies and failures of KCSO under the current administration of Bob Norris. Click here to learn more.
