In a statement released on his Instagram account on January 3, 2024, Dan Wilson stated the following:

My opponent brags “I am the only candidate that protected your rights during COVID by an overreaching government.” Ok, so my question is this…..what did he actually do that required a sacrifice or how did he put himself on the line?

When he was sworn in on January of  2021 the great and independent citizens of Kootenai County were already over the scamdemic and were not complying with local or federal dictates and guidelines anyway. Now it is sure easy to talk tough and “take bold actions” when the majority of the people are already signaling, they won’t comply anyway. That’s called playing it safe. By the way, did he ask his SAC (Special Agent in Charge) friends permission prior to making his decision?

To protect the people’s rights in a hostile environment when the stakes are high….. now that is something to talk about. Let us know when that happens.

The General Election is on November 5, 2024.
