For a year Dan Wilson ran in the race for Kootenai County Sheriff and while the numbers were not on his side, he is still the people’s sheriff. People from all over this county, the region, and nationally, have been inspired by the message of Liberty Without Compromise and have been inspired by a man who has been willing to fight fire with fire. AND there is unfinished business.

We are going in-depth to uncover what’s going on in the largest most influential churches in Coeur d’Alene. Have these pastors crossed political lines? Are they politically involved where they shouldn’t be and in violation of their 501c3 non-profit status? Are they king-makers? Who is advising them? Anyone looking for political power and control in Kootenai County knew that controlling the church was a must and it appears they have done just that.

In this episode, verbatim transcripts are read revealing that a former DHS agent played a primary role in the meeting with a local pastor and one of his parishioners. This same former federal agent has local, ties to the church, the GOP, resiliency groups and the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. The pastor uses the art of storytelling to invoke emotion and attempt to hyper-personalize his opinions on sheriff candidate Dan Wilson. He skillfully sequesters the conversation and uses his stories to falsely and negatively frame Wilson. Both the pastor and the former federal agent continue to redirect the conversation to tie Wilson into a militia style movement when his campaign messaging of Liberty Without Compromise has always been lawful and Constitutional.

By this pastor’s own account as revealed in these transcripts, he’s an “influential person in this community”. Both he and the former federal agent were actively working in this meeting to control the narrative and to spread lies about candidate for sheriff Dan Wilson. They operated as the nucleus for Bob Norris’s anti-Wilson campaign while simultaneously accusing Wilson of running a smear campaign against Bob Norris.
