Dan Wilson Vs. Bob Norris Answers to KCRCC Vetting Survey Questionnaire

Part of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee candidate rating and vetting process involves filling out a questionnaire supplied by the KCRCC.
Originally running as a Republican for Kootenai County Sheriff, Dan Wilson began the KCRCC vetting process and submitted his answers to their questionnaire. He was subsequently invited to proceed through the KCRCC vetting process with two follow-up interviews. While Dan acknowledges that many of the committee members of the KCRCC are good people, there were a handful in leadership and on the vetting committee, who attempted to obstruct his candidacy for Kootenai County Sheriff. Two of the voting KCRCC committee members were not only overt supporters of Bob Norris, but also repeatedly attended Dan’s events where they attempted to embarrass and discredit Dan by badgering him with ridiculous questions as to whether his political, moral, and ethical views were truly conservative.
As you can see in Dan Wilson’s answers (found here) originally submitted to the KCRCC on January 5, 2024, he had already provided thorough answers to the KCRCC, leaving no doubt about his background, political, economic, moral, or ethical views. Contrast that to Bob Norris who submitted short, vague answers in all caps.
It seems it wasn’t necessary for Bob Norris to answer the KCRCC’s candidate vetting questions completely or respectfully to be the chosen candidate of recommendation to be placed on the May 21st, 2024, Republican Voter Guide.
While Dan Wilson is now running for Kootenai County Sheriff as a registered Independent, it’s still important to note the shocking differences between these two candidates:
