Bob Norris feigns interest in vetted citizen volunteers only after Dan Wilson announces plan to implement a vetted citizen’s posse in Kootenai County, Idaho.
In a statement released on his Instagram account on January 4, 2024, Dan Wilson stated the following:
Better late than never, Sheriff! Glad that I can provide the leadership and ideas, so your team doesn’t have to think too hard. Everyone in Kootenai County knows that I have been talking about this for months including state reps, county officials, law enforcement, community leaders, and citizens. You had 3 years to get this county ready with few accomplishments. Three years of non-specific answers when the community has been asking you what they can do to help. So, why now? Here is your next taking point to copy…….A Reserve Deputy Program. 😉
I have documented sources laying out my ideas for a vetted citizen’s volunteer posse.
The General Election is on November 5, 2024.
